What is Urology?
Urology is a branch of medicine that deals with diseases of the urinary tract. A urinary tract includes kidneys, bladder, ureters, and urethra. Urology also includes diseases of male reproductive system and deals with the organs like penis, testes, prostate, scrotum, etc. Urology is a surgical specialty which can treat a range of different problems involving urinary system and male reproductive system. In addition to the surgery, it also includes internal medicine.
